Official Summer vacation started last Monday July 20th. for most schools in Okinawa. Mainland Japan started Friday July 17th so we are a week in the month and a half summer bash.... BBQ, Beach and Relaxation with a capitol ATION... Fireworks, since the forth of July are a regular sight here in Okinawa through the summer vacation with enormous beach festivals and events... We have joined the band-wagon, August 2nd starting at 11:00am. We kick off the event with games, local food venders and in the evening an assortment of local entertainment... Come up for the day or add this in to your summer vacation plans... Ferry schedule: First boat leaving Motobu port departs at 09:00 and the last boat leaving Ie Island departs at 16:30 that is a full day of sun and fun... Make Ie Island your first choice in your vacation needs....
